On Thursday October 10th South Florida will be hosting the 2019 International Soca Awards!!!! It will be held at The Lauderhill Perfoming Arts Center at 7pm. You know, the building that people seldom notice because they're too excited as they pass it straight heading inside the park for the Miami Carnival Jouvert..... That one. Excitements!
I'm sure this hositng is no surprise to the ones of us who live in the South Florida area but did you know that this year's special category is "Florida's Soca Artist of the Year"? Did you also know that one of the nominations in this category is of our very own Sizwe C? His nomination is #11 of 19 and the song he was nominated for was "Brasse". Ladies and gentlemen, please vote. Let your voices be heard in the International Soca Awards. You don't have to go anywhere to do it, can click the link right HERE!
