ITS BEEN A WHILE

I know, it's been a while but like I've stated before, this blog is just not the kind that is up each and every day. I mean, not every day I can find something interesting enough to blog about. There was a lot to talk about during the band launch season in Trinidad for the 2012 carnival with all the drama surrounding ISLANDpeople from launch to revamp and discounts, YUMA and their change of costumes and payment hiccups, TRIBE with their major costume let downs and that's just to name a few.  But after all that's said and done, now what?  Trinidad and Tobago is no longer under curfew and they were plotting to assassinate the Prime Minister.  Um, we have Anya Ayoung-Chee has not only won Project Runway (with the help of every Trinidadian on the planet) but has debut her section in TRIBE's 2012 mas. Good for her!  I do have to admit that I thought her loyalties would have remained with ISLANDpeople Mas but hey, say what.

In this time away, a lot has changed. The best being that
Radio stations that I've been jamming to for this down time are Vibyz Radio and Trini Bashment Radio they have been keeping me up to date with the new releases cause this baby has abandonment issues lol.  I have to be in his eyesight 24/7!!  The parang is coming in slowly but surely on both stations and I'm loving the chat room on Vibyz Radio.

Allyuh know I greedy bad lol don't get it twisted I'm going for the sorrel, black cake and especially for the puncha creme just as much as the music.  Feels good to drink someone elses besides mine for a change.  Hope to see you there!
