JESUS' BUCKET LIST

JESUS' BUCKET LIST

If you only had x amount of time to live, what would you do?
What would be on your bucket list?
What do you think would be on Jesus' bucket list?

This message is being brought to you from God, through Pastor Rick Thompson and then through me in hopes that these messages get out and into the ears and hearts of the lost or those simply trying to find their way home.

Jesus' bucket list can only be left to the imagination of us all seeing as he did the most important things EVER known to man.  If we were to imagine for a minute what Jesus had on his bucket list before he died for us, I know there would probably be 4 key things.

Key #1  LIVE PASSIONATELY

PSALM 90:10 Teach us to number our days right, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
PSALM 90:10 Our lifetime is seventy years or if we are strong, eighty years. If the years are full of hard work and pain.  They pass quickly and then we are gone.

When you look on a persons tombstone, you'd see their name and the dates in which they were born and when they died.  The time in between is like a dash.  That quick dash, is one's life.

So remember:
1.  We have one life to live and to give.
HEBREWS 9:27
GENESIS 1:26-27

2.  Our lives matter to God!!!
PSALM 139:13-18  You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb.  Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!  Your workmanship is marvelous--and how well I know it.  You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.  You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in YOUR book.  Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.  How precious are your thoughts about me, O God!  They are innumerable!  I can't even count them.

3.  Our days are numbered.  The only one who knows when you time is up, is God.

2 CORINTHIANS 6:1  Companions as we are in this work with you, we beg you, please don't squander one bit of this marvelous life God has given us.

PROVERBS 8:33-35  Mark a life of discipline and live wisely; don't squander your precious life.  Blessed the man, blessed the woman, who listens to me, awake and ready for me each morning, alert and responsive as I start my day's work.  When you find me, you find life, real life, to say nothing of God's good pleasure.

This means you're not going to squander your life!  Squander would be to ignore God all together.
